Name: Ryu Hunter.
Age: Fourteen.
Gender: Female.
Appearance: Ryu has long, black, straight hair that goes down a few inches beyond her shoulder blades. Her hair has a long silver streak from her bangs to the tips that somehow remain straight at the base of her shoulder blades. Her eyes are a mix of gray and blue, and always seem to be sparkling with curiosity. She is forced to wear her Student Ranger uniform, which is never quite perfect, as she keeps her shirt untucked rather than tucked, as it should be.
Personality: Ryu is very curious about the world she lives in. She loves Pokemon a whole lot, and cares more about them than most people. She likes dark-type and dragon-type Pokemon the most because she likes their rarity. Their mysteriousness seems to intrigue her, and she tries to find them everywhere. She's the type that would rather be shocked by an electric-type while petting them than run and watch them from afar. Her curiosity often gets her into trouble, but she's a faithful Ranger all the same. She tries as hard as she can to become a Top Ranger, but she knows that it won't happen soon, what with her constant trouble-making. She hates everything that Team Shadow Heart does, what with their darkening of Pokemon's souls, and she speaks openly about hating them.
History: Ryu was raised in the quiet countryside of the Unova region, with many Pokemon living around her. She often toddled off into the woods to meet forest Pokemon. Her favorite was always Venipede, for it's mysteriousness amused her. Her parents always pushed electric- and flying-type Pokemon to like her (those types were their favorites), but she was always getting electrocuted or pecked at. She preferred the dark- and dragon-types that lived in faraway places. She admired the Rangers more than the Trainers of the land, and strived to become one. She loved their relationships with their Pokemon, the friendships that lasted a lifetime. As she grew up, she learned to be curious about the world, and she loved all Pokemon. Her curiosity got her in trouble, as she was often getting attacked by the Pokemon she got too close to. She made friends with a lot of them, but they all had to stay when she left for the big city to be a Student Ranger. The city had so much that the countryside didn't, and she got even more curious towards the city-dwelling-Pokemon. Now, she's a Student Ranger who just wants to be on top, but her curiosity and accidental-trouble-making attitude makes it certain that it won't happen soon.
