Rima Chahira walked into the first floor of the Ranger building. It looked neat enough, but was certainly diffrent than she had expected. Shadow walked calmly beside her partner as Rima walked ower to the desk. She was, of course, nervous, but confident as always.
"Rima Chahira, for Ranger applications."

The kind-looking Receptionist looked up from a piece of paper and smiled at the girl. "Ah, hello! Yes, yes..." She looked below her large desk and pulled out a clipboard and a pen. "Here you go! Please, take a seat on your right," he pointed to her left as she handed Rima the application, "And please try to keep from stepping or sitting on any Pokemon. Thank you."

Rima took the applications and smiled at the recptionist. "Don't worry, I'll try not to hurt anyone." With that Rima made her way over to the chairs and started to work on the forms. About a half an hour later she stood up and walked back over to the receptionist, giving her the papers back.

"Thank you." The lady smiled up at her, then back down at the clipboard. After a minute or two of flipping pages, she took out a stamp-like object and slammed it onto a piece. Lifting it up a moment later, it showed a winded circle and a large "ACCEPTED" on it. "Here you go! Now, please go up to the topmost level, our Garden, and meet with Elder Hawk. Then you will be officially approved."

Rima thanked the woman and made her way over to the elevator. She then noticed that Shadow was hesitant and remembered that her friend didn't like hights that much. "Come on Shadow, I promise it won't be for long." With the promise from Rima, the Absol climed on and Rima pushed the button for the top floor.
