Appearance: Elder Hawk is an elderly woman, with wrinkles layering on her face and gray hair tied in a tight bun above her forehead. Her eyes are a deep green, and seem to hold the wonders of the forest in them. She has an unusually straight posture, a forgiving smile, and is always seen wearing a red blouse and a white tube skirt, with yellow flats.
Personality: Elder Hawk is a kind and caring woman, who is deeply respected by all the Unova Rangers. She is quite a worry wart at times, fussing over how dangerous missions are (even if she's he one who applied them). She forgives quite easily and is like a grandmother to many of the Rangers, but she does have quite the temper, which is rather easy to switch on and off with her.
History: Mary Hawkthorn was born and raised in Unova around sixty years ago to a boatsman named Robert, who worked in Castelia City. One day, he took his daughter on a boat ride to a remote island that he found interesting, and she immediately loved it.
One day, a fire started on that island. Mary was terrified and scared for the loss of her island. She watched as Officer Jenny's rode towards it on speed boats and Pokemon alike, and watched as it almost burnt down into flame.
And then, the Rangers came.
The Pokemon Rangers rushed to the rescue on Pidgeots and Ferrows and Staraptors and other flying-types, dousing the flames with various water-type Pokemon. And they saved the island. Her island. Her Ranger Island.
