GUEST's eyes drifted lazily from wall to wall of his dormitory, the walls being of a neutral color that were not decorated to much of an extent at all. He had not put much into this room at this point, and he did not plan to renovate this room into much excitement. In fact, its basic structure now was ideal in the mind of GUEST. It made it so he couldn't disorganize things, for nothing was there to be unorganized. However, it was bland and GUEST was sure Baylee's or Elder Hawk's rooms were more exciting then his. At the same time GUEST did not care of this, for he had kept up a sort of personality among the base that represented him as a sort of bland person, doing his missions and having all of the "bam" stuff being thrown at him. Like an uninteresting person having a very interesting life, in a way.
GUEST stood up slowly from his plain white bed and walked to the door, realizing there was stuff to be done and sitting here pondering on such matters would be irrelevant in his current position of Top Ranger. He walked down the hallway and up an elevator until he reached an area in which was somewhat designated to getting missions for the rank in which GUEST was. As far as he knew his accomplice for this mission would be Baylee, whom he had yet to form a proper opinion on. He wasn't going to judge her just yet even though he had this slight ideal she was crazy. If he had to work alongside her commonly then it would be worth trying to get on her good side and stay that way. GUEST waited for some sort of sign of Baylee appearing, for just a while ago he had given her word of his intentions to meet her here and get the mission in which he sought out for.

The female Top Ranger was previously on the topmost level of the Center, training a bit while also making sure the Pokemon that resided there weren't becoming too unruly. Not a second after GUEST had stepped off, she was pressing the "Down" button of the small elevator with one of her three partners, a Luxray, by her side.
As the familiar feeling of stomach rolling and weight lifting high, Baylee sighed and leaned on the back wall of the small room, seemingly bored. The large Electric Cat Pokemon sat before her, almost stiff as he looked at the doors that would slide open in just a moment.
When said action happened, the two walked out steadily, yet slowly. There were loud thuds as the brunette's combat boots hit the tiled floor heavily. No matter were she went, she almost always seemed to stomp around. Most people didn't mind it, though some saw it as annoying and unladylike.

GUEST's slouched back laid against the wall of the ranger base in which GUEST resided in. GUEST looked around for just a second, before his needs were met as his accomplice for this mission stepped out of the elevator. He looked at her, his eyes still displaying no expression other than the blatant boredom in which resided in his thought. GUEST's posture did not change, nor did his overall appearance. GUEST suddenly shifted his body weight and stood erect, no longer using the wall as a support. He took note on her electrical cat Pokemon in which he had seen her with once or twice before, so GUEST was unable to form an idea on which partner this was of hers. GUEST then spoke silently, his words being light "I assume you already know of our mission, Baylee." GUEST said.
He walked forward a few steps in the outward direction, not necessarily toward Baylee in herself. He dropped a Rangerball to the ground, as in to show some sign of readiness. From the Ranger Ball a figure formed, and it grew until it was the shape of a Sawk, whom GUEST had renamed to Z. As the light faded Z stood strong and able to battle, ready for anything it would appear. GUEST knew that Z had not yet much friendliness among the others in the base, so his intents with releasing this Pokemon were truly to maybe have it befriend Baylee's Pokemon. However this was completely optional and he wasn't going to force his Pokemon to do such. And as expected, it showed very little sign of wanting to be Charge's friend. GUEST looked away from Z as it backed into the wall and said, "I believe they will brief us on our mission anyway..." GUEST took a short breath, "I would hope you are ready?" GUEST knew he was an equal to Wolfy, however he liked to consider himself a step ahead, although this was not true.

The girl yawned as she walked up to the boy. She had gotten up earlier that morning to report to their Elder, and quite frankly, was not very happy of that fact. But she shoved it off as the fellow Top Ranger began to speak with her. "Hm? Oh, yeah, yeah..." She yawned again, "I've got all my junk. You?"
The Luxray, who was slightly in front of Baylee now, growled slightly at the Sawk, and then up at GUEST. "Lux..." He muttered, stepping back a little and standing in front of Wolfy's thighs with his full flank now, instead of just his chest and fact, and what you would get from facing him.
The female Ranger laughed, sounding a little nervous, if a bit, and petted the giant cat's head. "Down, Charge..."

GUEST listened to the woman carefully, however the answer he received from her was nothing that would have to be listened to carefully, for it was basic as Baylee's answers typically were. Other than the countrified wording in which GUEST almost had trouble understanding, although somehow pulled out the answers as to what she was saying in his mind. GUEST had already decided not to judge her yet, which he reminded himself once more at this point and pushed all judgmental thoughts out of his mind. "I'm ready as well..." GUEST spoke with a bit of self confidence in his words. This would be his first mission as a Top Ranger if he did not count the one in which he caught Cirus. GUEST looked at Charge and did not react at all, however it would appear that Sawk was getting anxious.

The Luxray still growled and stood in place, but the fur on his shoulders flattened just a bit, even if it wasn't noticeable. "Well, then, let's head out!" Wolfy laughed a bit again. She slowly stepped over her Luxray, then put her hands on her hips. "We're goin' to Mistralton, right? Or was it Icirrus... N'aw, I think it was Mistralton... Am I right?" She looked at her fellow Top Ranger, then to one of the few Operators in the room.
"It is Mistralton, Wolfy." The man said, clicking a few buttons and looking at a holographic map in front of him every few seconds. Baylee nodded a little with a small grunt, then grinned.
"I dunno 'bout you, GUEST, but I'm wired like a Tepig in a rodeo fer this mission. Well, fer any mission really..." She began to mumble to herself, walking over her Luxray once more and towards the elevator. "Or would that be as Tickled Pink as 'n Audino? Maybe wanna go Lickety-Split like'a Licketongue..."
(... I think I'm going overboard with the Country Slang...)

GUEST listened to Wolfy, somewhat aggravated by her lack of knowledge and insecurity with her own knowledge. GUEST usually just went by whatever his first instinct was, however she just continually second guessed herself as she spoke. Finally an operator was capable of confirming the location of the mission. GUEST wished for Charge's growling to discontinue, however he was not in place to request such for it would more than likely not bring about any good in the situation. Sawk was prepared to start swinging at the Pokemon, however GUEST's stern face did not show any sign of frustration, thus it could not detect that GUEST would be entertained by such action. GUEST started walking towards the elevator slowly, and then reached the elevator, turning around to face the door as he entered. "Perhaps you could stop talking for a bit.... It ruins my focus." GUEST lied somewhat. Sawk followed him into the elevator contently as GUEST prepared to push a button on the machinery.

The Top Ranger looked at her fellow comrade, then put on a sheepish look. "Oh, yeah, yeah. Sorry, I'mma bit indecisive..." She let out a nervous laugh as she stepped into the elevator, leaning onto a side wall with her boot crossed over one another once again. Charge sat smack dab in the middle of the transporting room once again, sitting stiff as a statue. Only thing that moved where his ears and eyes occasionally.

GUEST smiled internally and externally displayed a slight smirk as he listened intently to Baylee's words. At least she listened to him, and admitted to her mistakes open minded. Some people were not comfortable with admitting to their errors, and a person who was capable of doing so could improve more frequently. Sadly, GUEST lacked the ability to do such as admit to his mistakes and listen to others of the same stature frequently. GUEST looked to Charge, whom was sitting in the middle of the elevator, taking up a decent amount of room. GUEST leaned slowly to the wall and extended his arm to click the button. It was set to the bottom floor, and the elevator shifted slowly as it began to descend down to the designated area. "Its perfectly fine Baylee." GUEST said, chuckling lightly at her nervous laughing. He had never worked with her on an official mission yet, and going along with everything that wasn't completely annoying would hopefully help them get along. Sawk squeezed beside GUEST, attempting to keep a moderate distance away from Wolfy's partner.

The Luxray glanced at the Sawk for a moment, and with a slight flick of his tail, began to purr slightly as the elevator went into motion. Baylee, on the other hand, was scratching the back of her neck, eyes closed and grinning somewhat cheekily. "Well, I guess this is our first mission together, huh?" She laughed nervously once again, confused as to what they could talk about along he way, if anything.

GUEST's eyes shifted to the opposite wall, looking blankly at the wall. GUEST heard Charge's purring, which was was a sign of relief for him. And of course, Z edged away from GUEST whom he was somewhat crushing. Z still did not want to near the Pokemon yet, for its fears of the Pokemon were still existent and relevant in Z's mind. Just ignoring the Pokemon's presence would not be likely, in fact it would appear very impossible. GUEST then listened to Baylee as she spoke. She was obviously unsure of nervous, an emotion GUEST acted like he lacked. However he had such emotion, and it throbbed through his body at times, only to be ignored. GUEST spoke, "Well I would suppose so."
GUEST was prepared to leave it there, and not speak further, leaving her to carry on the conversation. But GUEST knew that if he left her to carry this conversation he would not get the desired results. GUEST continued, ".... I've seen you around a lot. But I have not really learned anything about you or the way you work.. if we are going to work together perhaps we should converse, for the sake of teamwork progressing naturally." GUEST said, pointing out the obvious. GUEST's words were chosen quite oddly, for this set of words coming from the mouth of GUEST was odd. However, his voice was sprinkled with his mystique and mysterious voice. "Where are ya from Baylee?" GUEST realized his social skills were terrible, but he knew the standard Ranger was all perky and over social. So GUEST wasn't discouraged, he considered his social skills lacking as an ability. Besides, friendship was what Rangers were built off of, so maybe GUEST needed a bit of friendship.
(Lol, its a fun challenge trying to work around GUEST's lack of social skill xD)

The Top Ranger laughed a little, crossing her arms now and letting her legs become somewhat straight... one was still a bit bent as she was putting most of her weight on the other. "I'm from a ranch 'little ways between Mistralton and Icirrus, 'ctually. That's why I mix 'em up sometimes... eheh..." Her laugh fumbled a bit, but she regained her happy-go-lucky appearance once more. "I grew up regularly, I guess... Well, f'er a Rancher's daughter, anyways. Feedin' the Pokemon, cleanin, the Pokemon, herdin' the Pokemon...
My Grandpa an' Nana came over ev'ry once-in-a-while, too. You might've heard of 'em. They're the Day-Care Couple. But anyways, uh, when they did come over, sometimes they would have eggs that were left at their place, an' we took 'em in. An' sometimes, my 'rents would have a 'Fessor from 'nother region bring over a whole new Pokemon!" She laughed. "That's how I got Charge an' Auran.
"Now, Ciris is another story!" She almost seemed to giggle, but it came out more boyish than those little things; It was more like a chuckle, than anything. "She was a lone Zorua on the farm who cause all kinds of mischief just 'cause she wanted to be noticed. Poor thang didn't have any friends. Took me a while to get close to 'er, but we came out 'ventually. Only real problem I have with her now is gettin' her to behave..."
Suddenly, the girl seemed to jump and laughed nervously once again. "Oh, sorry! I was blabbin'. Er... uh... whatt'a 'bout you? What's y'er life been like?"

GUEST listened to her story as quietly as little GUEST could, making mental notes on quite a few things. One, her story was not a dramatic one, which was common for rangers. Two, her story telling skills were up to par. Three, she explains how she got all of her Pokemon, which opens GUEST's eyes on what she was doing. 'Where are ya from?' was more than just a location, to Baylee it was a brief history. GUEST supposed that he really didn't specify what he meant, and her explaining more was only more helpful. However, listening to her made GUEST further realize his life was more dramatic than hers. It made very little sense though. GUEST was very uninteresting and bland, whereas Baylee was exciting and energetic, yet GUEST had all these things happen to him oddly.
GUEST didn't put that stuff on luck, it was almost as if his life was planned and odd in the same way. As she finished her speaking, cutting herself off from more rambling, GUEST prepared himself to speak. He inhaled sort of loudly and then exhaled in the same manner. "Its alright really, I don't have much to say." GUEST took a brief pause and then continued, "I'm from Sinnoh, not really a known area of the region. X was my mother's. She was devastated by what my past is, and wanted me to go do something. I wanted to do something as well, and earn money. So I'm here now, and I've became a ranger. X served the purpose of my first partner. I send her money every so often still now..." GUEST took another brief pause, however this one wasn't so brief as GUEST dragged it on an extra few seconds. "However, I have yet to get any sort of response. I found my other partners in the wild, which is basic enough." GUEST continued, "They do a good job, and keep my mind off my past. Sad really. I benefit from how challenging my Partners are."
GUEST faked a smile and a little chuckle. "Huh. Almost sounds like I was just saying that for you to feel sorry for me." GUEST laughed again, he sounded so fake. He honestly didn't want to be felt sorry for though, but at the same time he realized his story was sort of sorry-like. And GUEST isn't GUEST without pointing out something stupid like how fake it sounds during realistic speakings.

Baylee was honestly listening, for once, and nodding somewhat. He didn't really note about his mother or how she acted like, bu, then again, she didn't either. Hey, it was his personal junk, not hers. She laughed a little as he noted about how he was sounding, and shook her head. "Nah, it's fine. Sometimes we do that." She smiled, trying her best to revive the thick tension into something a bit more... welcoming.
"Anyways, I bet you and y'er partners are real close like..."
