Sarah tried to look away, so that Louis wouldn't see her tears and tried to give him the awnser without studdering that much.
"H-he got away. I wasn't strong enough." At this Sarah sunk to her knees and buaried her face in her hands. she knew that she was doig exactally what she DIDN'T want to do and was probably making herself look weak in Louis's eyes, helpless. How was she going to be able to keep her tough girl persona around him now?
She didn't care. She let the tears fall as she wrapped her arms around her torso, barley aware of the fact that Akira was curling himself around her protectively, and trying to tell her it was his fault too.

He walked over to her and bent down on his knees. He tried to look into her teary eyes put her head was buried in her lap. "It's okay. We'll get him next time. It'll be alright.", he said and nudged her with his shoulder. "We gotta go. But, If it will make you feel better, we can keep searching. ElderHawk will be happy that we at least found something was going wrong here in Nimbasa.", he said. He gave her a friendly hug and gestured them to keep looking.

Sarah wiped her tears and nodded, walkind back in silence to the take off/landing spot. She whistled for Aero and climbed back on Akira, who was still trying his best to cheer hes up. Louis was about to take off, but she stopped him.
"Louis, wait." Her voice ws quiet, but he must of heard it because he looked at her expectantly. she was looking away from him as she spoke, but still her voice was clear. "Thank you." Now she looked at him. Her eyes still glittered with tears in the setting sun, but they now held their earlier fire. "Thank you for staying with me. But please, don't tell anyone about what happened. I do have a reputation okay?"

"Oh, alright...", his voice trailed. He looked at her again and she seemed a little happy but at the same time frustrated of what innocence she had shown. "It's okay. Your secret is safe with me, I guess. So... Let's be on our way then.", he said and rubbed his head. His cheeks were a slight red from blush but he looked away so she wouldn't notice.

Sarah smirked and sniggered a little as the saw Louis blushing and then turning away, only making it more obvious that he was either uncomfortable or he liked her. She smiled at him again when he looked back at her. "Thanks. Now let's go." And with that she gave to order to go back home.
She was intrigued though. Did Louis like her, or did she just scare him with her sudden breakdown?

Louis knew he was interested in her and that one moment gave him the chance to be close to her. He knew he couldn't tell her though. This was their first mission and he didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable or disguised. He decided to keep it a secret, for now... "Yeah. Um, sure, let's go...", he said with more blush on his face and a smiling. They flew up into the air. Louis on the Bravairy and Sarah on the Flygon.
